At our July 28 Membership meeting, Santa Monica Democrats:

– welcomed Assemblymember Alex Lee to discuss some of his bold, progressive legislation across many different topics including social housing, Brown Act reform, and the Wealth Tax;

– endorsed six more state bills: SB343 Allen, SB433 Allen, AB1487, SB551, AB1009 Bloom, and AB1454 Bloom;

– heard an update about how you can get involved with our efforts to stop the recall of Governor Newsom;

– appointed our new SMDC Executive Committee member, Dan Hall.
