Join us on February 28 when we will elect our 2024 Executive Committee. Following our recent call for prospective board members, exactly 12 candidates have stepped forward. As a result, this year’s election will proceed uncontested. The recommended slate of candidates is provided below.

In addition to the election, we have planned an engaging double-header of panel discussions:

– Public Safety Reform and Oversight Commission Chair Derek Devermont will lead a discussion focusing on a proposed policy change regarding pretextual stops by police officers.

– Councilmember Jesse Zwick will moderate a panel addressing the topic of mobility within our community.

At this meeting we will consider endorsement of AB1810, which would provide access to menstrual products for incarcerated individuals.
We will also consider bylaws amendments, redlined here, which would dictate the Club’s process for proposed resolutions and also clarify that only registered Democrats may participate in candidate forums as part of our endorsement process.
