Just Added:Ā Senator Henry Stern, member of theĀ Senate Environmental Quality Committee, joins our discussion.
Senator Stern joins an already star-studded panel to discuss how we should be responding to the climate emergency:Ā
Igor Tregub – CDP Environmental Caucus Chair
Loraine Lundquist – Astrophysicist, Educator, and former LA City Council candidate
Aura Vasquez – CDP Executive Board Member, AD50
Fatima Iqbal-Zubair – 2022 Assembly Candidate (AD64), Vice Chair of CDP Progressive Caucus

It’s a refrain we’ve heard for decades now: “The latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report contains the most dire warnings yet for humanity.”
In 2021, the IPCC report confirmed that human activity is linked to the extreme weather patterns we have been seeing recently around the world. We are on track to pass 1.5ĀŗC of warming by 2040, and edging ever closer to irreversible tipping points.
What are we going to do about it? What is our role as the Democratic Party to ensure a fossil fuel-free future? If we don’t take extreme, immediate actions, it may be too late for our planet.
