For this month’s Membership Meeting, we will be joined by California Senator Ben Allen!

Senator Allen is the Chair of the Senate Environmental Committee and Vice Chair of the Joint Arts Committee. He is also a member of the Elections and Constitutional Amendments Committee, the Judiciary Committee, the Natural Resources and Water Committee, and the Transportation Committee.
Most importantly, he is a former member of the SMDC Executive Committee!

At the meeting, we will consider legislative endorsements, including the reparations package brought to the Club last month by Asm. Reggie Jones-Sawyer. We will also consider taking a position against proposed amendments to 2022’s Santa Monica Measure GS.
