April 13 Membership Meeting

On April 13, we will be joined by Board of Equalization Member Malia Cohen, who is a candidate for State Controller. 

We will also host the two Democratic candidates running to represent Santa Monica in the State Assembly, Louis Abramson and Rick Chavez Zbur.

April 27 Membership Meeting

On April 27, we’ll host our final meeting in advance of the June 7 primary. First, we will host our biannual Judicial Candidates Forum, in which all candidates running for a judge position at LA Superior Court will have the opportunity to address the Membership. 

Then, we will consider endorsements for all of the races which will appear on our June 7 ballot. Members in good standing will be able to speak on behalf of their preferred candidates. Finally, the ballots will be distributed and the Membership will vote.

During the voting window, we will be joined by Senator Ben Allen for a Q&A on the latest news from Sacramento, moderated by Programs VP Melissa Goodman.
