January 27: Santa Monica’s Housing Needs and Potential Solutions

Santa Monica’s Housing Needs and Potential Solutions:
Beginning A Community Conversation By Presenting A Wide Spectrum Of Views

RSVP Here:

Housing has always been one of the most important issues for Santa Monica, and in 2021 it will take center stage in a big way as the City considers its new Housing Element later this year. Given last fall’s election results, we know that there are a wide range of opinions on how best to solve this crisis. Rather than shut anyone out, we wanted to launch our conversation on this matter by bringing in as many different perspectives as possible.

Reading through the above list of guests, you may find some with whom you strongly disagree. For this meeting, we will be allowing our guests to present their view on how to meet our City’s housing goals, uninterrupted and without caricature or exaggeration by their opponents. After their presentations, the guests will take questions directly from the other panelists as well as the audience.

Please join us for this informative meeting on the varying approaches to solving our housing crisis.
