Our next SMDC monthly Membership Meeting will be on February 25, 6:30pm, at the Church In Ocean Park. We’ll be joined by former HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra (Governor candidate), Oliver Ma (Lieutenant Governor candidate), and Senator Stephen Bradford (Insurance Commissioner candidate).
We will also welcome our own Mayor Caroline Torosis for an update from City Council on the Renaissance Plan and her vision for Santa Monica in the year ahead.
And finally, we will consider early support for a proposed parcel tax to fund our schools.
