June 27: CA-25 Candidate Katie Hill Joins Kevin de Leon and more

Just added to our June 27 meeting is the Democratic candidate running in the 25th Congressional District: Katie Hill!

Katie Hill is the Executive Director of PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), the largest non-profit provider of homes for the homeless in California. She helped champion and pass Prop HHH and Measure H (which was endorsed by SMDC) to help alleviate homelessness in LA County. Our club, in conjunction with the Westside Democratic HQ, will be working tirelessly to get Katie elected to Congress. Join us on June 27 to meet her in person.

In addition, we have confirmed that Senator Kevin de Leon, our endorsed candidate for the US Senate, will be joining us.

Josh Harder, the Democratic candidate running in the 10th House district, will be joining live via satellite from his district, and we are in conversation with several other candidates to be announced shortly.

Also joining the discussion will be Katharine Marrs, State Field Director of the California Democratic Party, to help us make sense of the primary results and look ahead to the path to victory in November.

We will also be considering endorsements in the governor and attorney general races.
